Better is a growing brand agency based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. The business is 3 years old and provides brand, marketing, creative, print and digital services to a wide variety of clients across the North.
Roles & Responsibilities:
General responsibilities for the role include working closely with the management team in maintaining the management of SAGE Line 50 plus financial administration of the business including petty cash, invoicing, debtor and creditor management. More details as below:
- Client invoicing and debtor management using Sage Line 50
- Processing of all supplier invoices received in Sage Line 50
- Reconciliation/management of all supplier statements, remittance, creditor statements and correct balances
- Bank reconciliations including matching of receipts to accounts, matching of payments to supplier accounts, weekly reconciliation of bank accounts and resolution of errors & discrepancies
- VAT and EU Sales returns
Skills Required:
- In depth experience in Sage Line 50 (version 18)
- Experience in finance or accounting
- Strong administration skills
- Knowledge of reviewing expenditure against budgets and controlling purchasing.
- Competent user of Microsoft office applications
- Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
- The ability to work well within a team and on your own initiative
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience.
Hours:
Up to 16 hours per week.
The position will commence from the 1st February 2012.
