As part of our fast paced studio team you will work alongside our Head of Digital and Creative Director and be a key part of the website development process with involvement in the internal scoping, design/UX, front end HTML/CSS and development stages of projects.
You will need a minimum of 3 years experience in developing commercial website and applications, along with a portfolio of live projects you’ve worked on. You will be challenged with working on a number of web projects, some of which will be within tight timescales, from small CMS websites to some pretty heavy and complex bespoke developments.
You’ll also be responsible for supporting our Head of Digital in the setup and management of numerous development, testing and live production servers.
You should have the passion, experience and confidence to contribute to R&D within the agency to ensure we keep right on top of emerging development techniques (e.g. responsive design, mobile). You should also have a commitment to best practice, an appetite for innovation, excellent communication skills and an attention to detail to die for.
The skills that pay the bills:
We need you to have a minimum of 3 years in a commercial digital agency with the following:
- good front end web development including HTML and CSS
- solid PHP/MySQL
- decent JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX
- experience of WordPress CMS platform
- knowledge of Object Oriented PHP frameworks
- understanding of web security, accessibility and usability
Some nice to haves:
- some understanding of UX and responsive design and development techniques
- knowledge of open source CMS/eCommerce platforms
- experience with development and integration of common service/social API’s

Package Details:
Salary: Up to £26k (depending on experience)
Employment Basis: Full time
Additional: Individual annual training budget (e.g. conference attendance, resources)
