We are currently on the lookout for a new Studio Administrator to join our ambitious and hard-working team at our fast-paced creative studio based in Middlesbrough.
Working in our Client Services team, alongside the Client Services Director and Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for all front-of-house activities, both face to face and on phone/email, whilst supporting studio administration and project management. You will need to be well organised, very personable and have a hunger for making things happen.
The Role – What you’ll be doing.
You’ll help ensure our studio runs like clockwork which could mean organising couriers for deliveries or ordering general stationary.
You’ll work directly with our trusted suppliers (such as printers, production partners) to gather costs for a variety of projects. You’ll also need to ensure costs inputted directly into our internal system.
Project set up.
Populate projects on our project management system ready to be scheduled including breaking down tasks, notes, time and costs.
Work along side the management team to schedule projects and ensure system is updated ready for the daily project ‘huddle’.
You will need to make sure each member of the studio has recorded their time at the end of each day and this time inputted into our project management system against each project.
Analyse project data and produce reports.
Monitor and review project budgets weekly identifying where any may be going over budget. Producing accurate and timely project reports for Client Services team meetings for project progress and time vs. costs management.
Answering the phone.
Answer the main phone to let people into the building, transfer calls accordingly and take clear telephone messages.
Front of house and greeting Clients.
Meet and greet clients when they arrive at the studio, seat them and take a drinks order.
All meeting rooms need to be checked i.e. clear table, chairs tucked in before any meeting booked into the diary.
Managing internal and external correspondence, post and deliveries including organising couriers for any client deliveries.

Skills are one thing, but attitude and aptitude are another. We’ll help mentor and develop any of the skills you need to support you in the role but what we’ll need to see from the day we meet is plenty of passion for the role and a commitment for learning. We’d also like you to be intuitive and curious.
Of course in this type of role you’ll also need to be very adaptable. highly organised, confident and enthusiastic and have a cracking eye for detail. Above all you’ll need a ‘can do’ attitude.
